Rawkblog golden god Michael Cera is hanging out and eating pizza with the cast of “the Snakes on a Plane of reality shows,” Jersey Shore, as we Tweet, apparently because he really wanted to. According to Vulture, MTV will air the Youth In Revolt-promoting special Michael Cera and Jersey Shore on Thursday. I’m lizzing! I’m lizzing!

Your favorite actor and mine turns 21 today. Do they have a drinking age in Canada? Next up for the young charmer is Year One later this month as well as a co-starring role with his cougar girlfriend in Paper Heart, with the Scott Pilgrim adaptation and Youth In Revolt on the way. And perhaps Arrested Development? I’m still waiting on Superbad II: The College Years. At any rate, happy b-day, Mike. I hope nobody breaks up with you.

Michael Cera doing music for Paper Heart: The Rawkblog hero will join girlfriend Charlyne Yi in providing music (songs, presumably) for their award-winning sorta-documentary, due Aug. 7, The Playlist reports. Beirut’s Zach Condon and Alden Penner of Clues/Unicorns are contributing as well, as is — as I’ve blogged — NYC act The City and Horses.

Paper Heart, the pseudo-documentary on comedienne Charlyne Li’s denial of love — and how she finds it with the cuddly young Michael Cera (star of your favorite indie-rock film of 2008) — is premiering at Sundance this week, but several clips from the film are out now.
