Mickey Rourke not doing Iron Man 2: Really. Bummer. The current rumor mill says Marvel’s not coughing up enough dough for actors such as Mickey and Samuel L. Jackson — can’t say I’m happy about that. (P.S. I saw Watchmen last night!!11one!1)

    I’m so sick of Samuel L. Despite his cameo as Nick Fury at the end of the first Ironman, I’d be very happy if they replaced him with someone else in Ironman 2. Mickey Rourke would be cool too, but he’s probably being offered everything right now.

    Me too, but he was born to play Nick Fury. It’s what the comic writers always intended, too.
